EDITH MOULTON PARK

WORK DAY-SEPT 26TH - 9AM TO 1PM

Activity: Volunteer Work Day to improve an urban park trail and make it a usable bike/walking path. This activity will be followed within days by place- ment of a gravel base, which has already been paid for by private donation.

Time: Saturday, September 26th, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Where: Edith Moulton Park, Kirkland, 108th Ave NE and NE 137th St

The Park: This is a 26-acre woodland park with Juanita Creek running through it. It has existing trails that need improvement for enhanced usability by walkers and bikers.

Needed: 25-30 volunteers who can use garden tools and would enjoy some trail work and fellowship with other park supporters.

Jobs: Cut brush, prune back trees, level an existing trail in preparation for gravel placement at a later date.

What to bring: Shovels, pruners, rakes, work gloves, water bottle.

Where to meet: The County will open up parking lot for us, accessible from the park road at 108th

Ave NE Provided: Muffins and juice. (Bring your own coffee if you like!)
